TO INFINITY AND BEYOND

 KING OF INDIAN MATHEMATICS Srinivasa Ramanujan Srinivasa Ramanujan , (born December 22, 1887,  Erode , India—died April 26, 1920, Kumbakonam), Indian mathematician whose contributions to the  theory of numbers  include pioneering discoveries of the properties of the  partition  function. When he was 15 years old, he obtained a copy of George Shoobridge Carr’s  Synopsis of Elementary Results in Pure and Applied Mathematics,  2 vol. (1880–86). This collection of thousands of  theorems , many presented with only the briefest of proofs and with no material newer than 1860, aroused his genius. Having verified the results in Carr’s book, Ramanujan went beyond it, developing his own theorems and ideas.

  LIBRARY STOCK REGISTER MAINTENACE. The Library Accession Register is a record of all books taken in to the School Library. The information recorded about each book includes: accession number; date received; title, author and publication details; cost; the source of the volume, i.e. the donor of the work or the fund out of which it was purchased; the call number assigned to the work; and the date on which it was transferred, lost or otherwise disposed of.   

 RANGOLI COMPETITION Rangoli is a fabulous hand drawing art, originating in the Indian subcontinent, in which patterns are created on the floor using materials such as colours, diyas, flower petals, glitters etc. It is a way to express imagination. The purpose of rangoli is decoration, and it is thought to bring good luck as well. Keeping this in mind,  Rangoli making competition was organized on 22 September, 2022 at Jaigopal Garodia Government Girls Higher Secondary School for the students.  Children put in lots of efforts and came up with amazing ideas. 

FATHER OF MATHEMATICS   A Greek mathematician  Archimedes  is known as the  Father of Mathematics . He is considered the Father of Mathematics for his significant contribution to the development of mathematics. Notable inventions of Archimedes are: The calculation of measurement of a circle The method of exhaustion to measure the areas of the shapes The relationship between spheres and cylinders Uses of prime numbers The topic of infinity

  In Thailand, "555" Is Hilarious Teenagers texting in Thailand (say that three times fast) will send the digits "555" to indicate that something is funny. The reason? "5" is pronounced "ha"—so "555" translates to "hahaha." Thus, "55555" means "hahahahaha," or "ha" squared.

     TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION Teachers' Day  is a special day for the appreciation of  teachers , and may include celebrations to honor them for their special contributions in a particular field area, or the community tone in education. This is the primary reason why countries celebrate this day on different dates, unlike many other International Days. For example,  Argentina  has commemorated  Domingo Faustino Sarmiento 's death on 11 September as Teachers' Day since 1915.
